Great photo; love this scene. As a kid I used to make up stories about the family, based upon the laundry. We don't see laundry outside very much anymore; everyone uses dryers. That used to be one of the few domestic chores I enjoyed!

If this place is new, what do they call 'old'?
There's a nice capitello at the far end. It's on the wall of the local communist party office. There must be a word for that. Incongruous?

Mark Twain says it best! Great fun to wonder about the people who wear these clothes.

Mark Twain would have been puzzled by Gandhi.

A book is a man's best friend, outside of a dog. Inside a dog, it's too dark to read. -Groucho Marx

Mark Twain and Groucho surely were the best observers of and commenters on humanity.
