I know where that fountain is, but I'll give others a chance as it's fairly easy.The quotation is a bit obscure.
Google has it as: Fountain in the Campo St. Giacometo.
Here is a 360º view. If not exactly muddied it isn’t giving drink either in the link above. Yet, how much more splendid the link makes of Pierre’s photo.
