Hi Mike there are strong links with venice and the USA, Save Venice in New York events support restoration efforts in the city so the flag is a welcome symbol I guess Pier might tell us were it was photographed
Save Venice is in Boston too! In fact Save Venice was founded in Boston! We are currently working on raising funds for the restoration of San Sebastiano. Make a donation or join us for an event sometime!

I too recall that Save Venice was associated with Boston but the website only mentions that it is based in New York no comments on Boston unless you plug that into google which is a terrible shame!! When I was in NY I did join you for an event! Great work and Im very happy to know there is such great support
